Fall Term 2021
This fall, NASEF is offering high school students the chance to compete for esports scholarships as they demonstrate their skill in popular titles at no cost to schools, clubs, or students: Rocket League and Chess.
The free tournaments will be presented by NASEF, the North America Scholastic Esports Federation, and offered free to all members of NASEF!
The tournament’s regular season runs from September 26th to November 21st, 2021. Students must be 13+ to participate.
Fall Schedule
Registration opens August 16, 2021.
Students can play each game once a week during Fall season for a total of 8 times per game in regular season. Each game has several queue windows every week:
Chess & Rocket League play Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Fridays at 1pm, 2pm, and 4pm Pacific (depending on which tournament).
In addition, there are make-up days as listed under the "Rounds" section on the specific tournament's page. Teams who missed one or two weeks will be able to make-up a game on these days ONLY.
Scores must be reported by 11:59 PM on game day.
Playoffs & Championship Schedule
Playoffs run November 29, 2021 to December 3rd, 2021.
Championships are December 6-10, 2021.
Fall Tournament Prizes
The top 4 teams from each game are invited to the National Championships in May 2022 where they can compete for their share of $150,000 in scholarships! Each prize is per student.
1ST PLACE - ENTRY TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP + $500 TRAVEL VOUCHER + $500 BONUS SCHOLARSHIP
2ND PLACE - ENTRY TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP + $500 TRAVEL VOUCHER
3RD PLACE - ENTRY TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP + $250 TRAVEL VOUCHER
4TH PLACE - ENTRY TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Rocket League is cross-platform and free to play thanks to NASEF!
Rocket League matches are on Tuesdays and Fridays. You can play a maximum of once per week.
Scrim Window
Practice against other NASEF teams every Saturday between 9/25 and 11/20 at 6:30pm Eastern.
